Case study · Food truck, Cincinnati

Dats Right Food Truck.
Find the truck, read the menu.

A Cincinnati food truck serving bold, flavorful dishes with a Southern twist, grown through events and word of mouth.

This site is no longer online.

The brief

Two questions, asked from a phone

Exposure came from in-person events and word of mouth. What was missing was somewhere customers could answer the only two questions that matter: where is the truck, and what is on the menu.

Both get asked standing up, on a phone, often with a queue forming. Anything that took more than a few seconds to load or read was going to be abandoned.

The design

One page, everything on it

A streamlined single-page layout with the menu, the schedule and the contact route all reachable without a second load.
