Excalibur Radon Mitigation
Web Design & Development

Project Overview
Excalibur does one thing. Radon. In a market where most radon work gets sold as a sideline by home inspectors and general remodelers, that focus is the whole competitive argument, but it only counts if a visitor can tell the difference in the first ten seconds. The harder problem was the subject itself. Radon is invisible, the units mean nothing to a homeowner, and the honest version of the pitch involves lung cancer numbers. Lean too hard on that and the site reads like a scare ad. Leave it out and nobody has a reason to act today. The site had to teach a stranger what a picocurie is, show that the crew measures before it drills, and stay calm the entire way down the page.

Project Deliverables
I designed and developed a custom site that treats education as the conversion path. A stat band near the top anchors the four numbers that actually mean something: the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L, the estimate that one in fifteen US homes is affected, the ANSI/AARST standard the systems are built to, and the four to eight hours a typical install really takes. A cutaway diagram shows soil gas entering through slab cracks and leaving through the vent stack, which does more work than three paragraphs would. A two column section states the risk plainly on one side and the fix on the other, so the page never leaves someone alarmed without an answer in front of them. Below that, a five step walkthrough runs from the first call through post installation testing, an eight point trust grid handles the objections that surface after the quote, and an FAQ covers cost, timeline, and the electric bill question the crew fields every week. Two deep service pages carry mitigation and testing, with anchored sections for real estate deadlines, new construction rough-ins, and commercial buildings. Thirteen community pages and an interactive coverage map let someone in Florence or Anderson Township confirm in a second that Excalibur runs their street.
