Case study · 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Cincinnati
Forever Kings Inc.
Kings, Kingdom, Season.
A 501(c)(3) founded in 2019, mentoring and empowering Black boys and young men of color through brotherhood, community, service and leadership.
An identity with a language of its own
Members are Kings, the community is the Kingdom, and each cohort is a Season. The site had to carry that identity with the weight it deserves rather than flattening it into generic nonprofit copy.
Behind the identity it had to do real work: move donors to give, turn interested adults into volunteers, and fill seats at events.
Carrying the culture, doing the work
The language and imagery of the Kingdom, with giving and volunteering never more than one clear step away.

The parts that do the work
Forever Kings runs on WordPress rather than the hand-coded Eleventy build most of the portfolio uses. It still scores 100 on Lighthouse desktop.
