Case study · Auto wrecker, Cincinnati
Junk My Car Cincinnati.
Four questions instead of one long form.
An auto wrecker serving the Tri-State since 2008. Rebuilt around a multi-step offer funnel, and in its first month 40 of 181 visits finished it and asked for a price.
Someone standing next to a car they want gone
Junk My Car has bought cars, trucks and SUVs since 2008, running or not, with free towing and same-day pickup anywhere in the Tri-State. The customer is almost always deciding in a hurry, and they want one thing before anything else: a number.
The old site made them hunt for it. Whoever gives a price first tends to get the car, so the entire job was to shorten the distance between landing on the page and finding out what the vehicle is worth.
The offer form is the hero
Not a photograph with a form buried below it. The first thing on the page on either screen size is the first question, already asking.

A funnel, not a contact page
Splitting one long form into four short steps is the whole idea. Each screen asks one easy thing, so the visitor is committed by the time the questions get specific, and the shop gets everything it needs to price the car before anyone picks up the phone.
99, with the form on the first screen
An interactive multi-step form usually costs something in performance. Hand-coded, it costs almost nothing: the largest element paints in 0.8 seconds and nothing shifts while it loads.

22 in every 100 visits finished the form
Google Analytics, first month of tracking. Sessions and completions are counted over the same window.
- 40 completed offer requests, last 90 days
- 22.1% of visits became one
- 181 sessions in the same window
Google Analytics 4, 2026-08-20. Tracking began 202608.
Worth saying plainly: that is one month and 181 visits. It is a real number over a small sample, not a settled average, and it will move as the site accumulates history. It is on this page because a funnel built to do one job appears to be doing it, not because 22% is a promise.
