Case study · Residential and commercial cleaning, Cincinnati

Monarch Concierge.
Cleaning, sold as a service, not a chore.

Residential and commercial cleaning across Greater Cincinnati since 2014. The pitch is the same crew every visit and a flat price before they start, and the site had to make that read as premium rather than cheap.

The brief

Not another cleaning company in a list of ten

Cleaning is a crowded search. Most of the results look alike: a stock photo, a list of rooms, a phone number. Monarch is positioned above that, with insured and background-checked staff, the same crew every visit and flat pricing, and a site that looked like the other nine would have thrown that positioning away.

It also sells to very different buyers. A homeowner who wants weekly upkeep, an estate that wants white glove care, a realtor staging a listing, an Airbnb host turning over between guests and an office manager all need to find their service quickly and know it was meant for them.

The design

Named packages, not a list of rooms

Every service has a name and a single-sentence promise, from The Crown Refresh for recurring upkeep to The Key Exchange for short-term rental turnovers. The trust points sit under the hero, and on a phone a Call Now and Free Quote bar stays pinned to the bottom of the screen.

This one is built in React on Vite rather than the Eleventy stack most of the portfolio uses, and prerendered so every page arrives as real HTML. It is still hand-coded with no page builder underneath it, and it is still one flat monthly price.
