Case study · Faith and travel blog, Cincinnati
Sidney's Adventures.
Built for reading.
Sidney Switzer is a faith-driven traveler documenting her decision to follow a calling to the ends of the earth.
A testimony that was hard to read
The story had already touched people through personal connection. What it lacked was a home: somewhere to document the journey, share travel writing, and encourage others to step out in faith.
The old site set hero text over a busy photograph, which looked striking and read badly. For a site whose entire purpose is sustained reading, that is the wrong trade.
Warm, elegant, legible
A softer palette and a wordmark instead of text-over-photograph, with the reading experience treated as the product.
