Exceeded my expectations with their outstanding communication and attention to detail. They were very creative and brought fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Is it worth replacing?

Sometimes the answer is no

The design is usually not the problem. Most sites that are not working fail on something duller: they load slowly on a phone, they do not say plainly what the business does or where it does it, or there is nothing on the page asking anyone to get in touch.

A rebuild is worth it when the site cannot be fixed without replacing what is underneath. A theme with fifteen plugins stacked on it, a builder generating half a megabyte of code to draw a heading, or a structure that has no page for the thing people actually search for.

It is not worth it when the site is basically sound and needs three changes. If that is your situation, say so on the call. I will tell you what those three changes are and you can have someone make them, including you.

Questions

What people ask before replacing a site

Is a redesign cheaper than a new site?

It is the same. $99 a month, nothing down, whether the site exists already or not. There is no separate redesign fee and no discount for having something to start from, because the work is the same work: the old site is replaced rather than edited.

Can you keep my current design?

If you like it, yes, and I will say so if it is already doing its job. More often the design is not the problem. The site is slow, or it does not say what the business actually does, or nothing on it asks anyone to get in touch.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if it is done properly. Existing URLs are kept where they still make sense and redirected where they do not, so the pages Google already knows about keep their history. Losing rankings in a redesign is a preventable mistake, not an unavoidable cost.

What happens to my domain and my email?

The domain stays in your name and stays yours from day one. Email is untouched: it runs separately from the website, so nothing about a rebuild interrupts it.

How long is my current site down for?

It is not. The new site is built alongside the old one and you see it before anything changes. The switch happens once you have approved it, and it takes minutes.

What if my site is fine and I only need a few changes?

Then say so on the call and I will tell you straight. If what you have works, paying me monthly to replace it is not the right answer, and I would rather say that than take the work.
